Jordon has 56 DVDs. That is 4/5 of what Joseph has. You want to find the rate, or how many DVDs there are at 1/5, to make it easier to find how many Jospeh has. Divide by four since it is 4/5s

56/4= 14

All you have to do is multiply that by 5. Because 1/5. You want to find 5/5.

14*5= 70 DVDs

I hope this helps!

5
Find the slope of a line parallel to 2y - 6x+8.
-6
morpeh [17]

Answer:

Change the equation to the slope intercept form (y = mx + b)

2y = 6x + 8

Divide equation by 2

y = 3x + 4

Therefore

The line as a y intercept of 4

:

Parallel lines have the same slope;

Find the slope by putting in the equation in the point/intercept form

4x + 4y = 20

4y = -4x + 20

Divide equation by 4, results

y = -1x + 5

:

Now we know the slope (-1) and the y intercept (+4) if the line

y = -1x + 4

or just

y = -x + 4 is "the line"

Plz help I need help with number 4
cupoosta [38]
It is B because have you do 160+77-x=180 you would add the like terms 160+77=237 and then subtract 180 from 237 and you get 57 for x and when you plug that in 160+77-57 77-57=20 and 20 plus 160 is 180 so The answer is B)No of these
