The question wants us to convert all of these to their equivalent in weeks.
30 years=1560 weeks
0.25 centuries= 1300 weeks
5,000,000 minutes=496 weeks
100,000,000 hours= 595238 weeks
4024 weeks= 4024 weeks

so let's start.

30 years=1560 weeks
We have 30 years. Since we know that there are 52 weeks in a year, we can solve for weeks.

\frac{30 years}{1} * \frac{52 weeks}{1 year} =1560 weeks
(since the years cancel each other out, we are left with the value for weeks.

0.25 centuries=1300 weeks
\frac{0.25 centuries}{1} * \frac{100 years}{1 century}* \frac{52weeks}{1 year} =1300 weeks
years and centuries cancel out and we are left with weeks.

5,000,000minutes=496 weeks
5,000,000minutes*1hour/60 minutes*1day/24 hours*1 week/7days=496weeks

100,000,000hours-595238 weeks
\frac{100,000,000hours}{1} * \frac{1day}{24 hours} * \frac{1 week}{7 days} =595238.095 weeks

4024 weeks is already in week terms so we dont need to do anything to it.

least to greatest would be 5,000,000minutes<0.25centuries<30years<4024weeks<100,000,000hours

What is the interquartile range of this data set 2,5,9,11,18,30,42,48,71,73,81
katrin [286]

First, find the median: 30

Then, find the median of the 2 sides from 30 (Q1 and Q3)

The middle value between 2 and 18 is 9. The middle value between 42 and 81 is 71. Now, just subtract 71-9.

The IQR is 62 :)

<h3>Answer: x = \frac{1}{3k}</h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

  1. Subtract 6kx from 30kx to get 24kx = 8.
  2. divide both sides by 24kx: \frac{24kx}{24k}  = \frac{8}{24k}
  3. That leaves us with \frac{1}{3k} .

A boat leaves a dock and travels 9 miles due north and 12 miles due west. Find how far the boat is from the dock. Type the corre
adelina 88 [10]

Answer:

15 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's say the dock is at the origin on a coordinate plane and each unit is 1 mile. If the boat travels 9 mile due north, that means that we move up from the origin (0, 0) 9 units to point A (0, 9). Now, this boat moves 12 miles due west, so we will go 12 units to the left of (0, 9) to point B (-12, 9). See the attached drawing (sorry for the crudeness).

Notice that this is a right triangle with legs of 9 and 12. That means the distance from the boat to the dock is just the hypotenuse, so use the Pythagorean Theorem: distance = \sqrt{9^2+12^2} =\sqrt{81+144} =\sqrt{225} =15

Thus, the answer is 15 miles.

Hope this helps!
