The number of records that each file drawer can hold = 50 clients
The number of drawers in each cabinet = 5
Total number of clients that the office has = 600
The total number of files that a cabinet can hold = 50 * 5
                                                                             = 250
Then
The number of cabinets that needs to be ordered = 600/250
                                                                                 = 12/5
                                                                                 = 2 2/5
So 3 cabinets need to be ordered by the company. I hope the procedure is clear enough for you to understand.

I wasn't going to click on this one, but the all-caps enthralled me and hypnotized me.

first off, let's change all the mixed fractions to "improper" and proceed from there, keep in mind that if we subtract the two bags' weight from the total, what's leftover is the 3rd bag's weight.

\bf \stackrel{mixed}{22\frac{1}{2}}\implies \cfrac{22\cdot 2+1}{2}\implies \stackrel{improper}{\cfrac{45}{2}}
\\\\\\
\stackrel{mixed}{6\frac{3}{8}}\implies \cfrac{6\cdot 8+3}{8}\implies \stackrel{improper}{\cfrac{51}{8}}
\\\\\\
\stackrel{mixed}{3\frac{1}{4}}\implies \cfrac{3\cdot 4+1}{4}\implies \stackrel{improper}{\cfrac{13}{4}}\\\\
-------------------------------\\\\

\bf \stackrel{\textit{sum of the two bags}}{\cfrac{51}{8}+\cfrac{13}{4}}\impliedby \textit{our LCD is 8}\implies \cfrac{(1)51+(2)13}{8}
\\\\\\
\cfrac{51+26}{8}\implies \cfrac{77}{8}\\\\
-------------------------------\\\\
\stackrel{total}{\cfrac{45}{2}}~-~\stackrel{two~bags}{\cfrac{77}{8}}\impliedby \textit{our LCD is again 8}\implies \cfrac{(4)45-(1)77}{8}
\\\\\\
\cfrac{180~~-~~77}{8}\implies \cfrac{103}{8}\implies \stackrel{third~bag}{12\frac{7}{8}}

Please answer fast 1. Each week, Bart earns a base rate of $85 and a commission on each dollar of merchandise he sells. If Bart
igor_vitrenko [27]

1. It depends on the form of "c". If we realize that a commission percentage of 10% is identical in value to 0.10, then we can compute the commission as 3600c. If the commission percentage of 7% is given as c=7, then we need to compute the commission as 3600·(c/100) = 36c. We will assume the former.

... (Bart's earnings) = 85 + 3600c

2. The cost of a rental is the base fee plus the mileage charge multiplied by the number of miles:

... (cost of renting) = 60.00 + 0.25m

5. Last year, Dan and Paula regularly invested $25/week in a mutual fund account. This
kozerog [31]

Answer:

They invested total $2730 over the past two years.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided information.

Dan and Paula regularly invested $25/week in a mutual fund account.

There are 52 weeks in a year.

Total money they invested in a mutual fund in first year.

$25×52 = $1300

They increased their weekly investment by 10 percent.

First find the 10% or 25.

\$25\times \frac{10}{100}=\$2.5

That means they invest $25+$2.5 = $27.5

They invest $27.5/week in next year.

Total money they invested in a mutual fund in second year.

$27.5×52 = $1430

Hence the total money they invested in the account over the past two year is:

$1300+$1430=$2730

Hence, they invested total $2730 over the past two years.
