divide total depth by time:

-56 /4 =14

so it is diving at 14 miles per minute

so after the first minute it was at -14 miles

Hello,

Okay, So to get to your answer, -56 in 4 minutes. And it wants to know how much in the first minute. So what I would do is to divide -54 by 4. And your answer would be -14.

Hope this helps

Ms. Jerome wants to buy identical boxes of art supplies for her 25
Lynna [10]

The inequality describes the price $375 she can afford for 25

individual box of supplies will be $375 ≥ 25x.

What is inequality?

An inequality is comparison of two values, showing if one is less than, greater than, or simply not equal to another value.

Let the price of each box is $x.

The inequality describes the price can she afford for each

individual box of supplies will be $375 ≥ 25x.

Therefore inequality is $375 ≥ 25x.

Answer

2 1/8

Step-by-step explanation 10–7 7/8=(10 – 7) + ( 0–7/8)= 3 +0 × 8 – 7/8= 3 + 08– 78= 3 + 0 – 78= 3 + -7/8 = 2 1/8

The cost of going to a drive-in movie theater is $5. 50 per person plus $2. 75 per car. Use the dropdown menu to create an algeb
Pie

The algebraic equation which shows that the number of x people can go to the drive-in with one car for $19. 25 is,

5.50x+2.75=19.25

How to write algebraic equation?

Algebraic equation are the expression which consist the variables, coefficients of variables and constants.

The algebraic expression are used represent the general problem in the mathematical way to solve them.

Steps to write down the simple algebraic equation-

 • Identify all the factors of the expression.
 • Assume a variable for the changing values.
 • Put a coefficient for the variable, if there is any rate of change of variable.
 • Use constant numbers for the fixed values.

The cost of going to a drive-in movie theater is $5.50 per person plus $2.75 per car. It has to create an algebraic equation that shows how many people can go to the drive-in with one car for $19. 25.

Suppose the total number of people in the car for drive-in movie theater is x. Thus, the cost of the x person to watch the movie is,

C=5.50x

As the cost of one car is $2.75. Thus, the total cost of watching a movie by x person will be,

C=5.50x+2.75

Now, the total cost, drive-in with one car for $19. 25. This cost must be equal to the above expression for total cost. Therefore,

C=5.50x+2.75=19.25

Hence, the algebraic equation which shows that the number of x people can go to the drive-in with one car for $19. 25 is,

5.50x+2.75=19.25

Please Help me I really need it :)
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

For the given intervals

( - ∞, - 5) ← use any value < - 5 but not - 5, the parenthesis ) indicates that x is less than - 5 but not equal to - 5

(- 5, - 1) ← - 4, - 3, - 2 can be used but not - 5 or - 1

(- 1, 4) ← 0, 1, 2, 3 can be used but not - 1 or 4

(4, ∞ ) ← use any value > 4 but not 4

Hence

3 can be used in (- 1, 4)

- 6 can be used in (- ∞, - 5)

zero can be used in (- 1, 4)

- 5 cannot be used in any of the given intervals
