Answer:

The correct answer is A. Observational learning

Explanation:

A Congressional hearing is taking place in Washington, DC. The representatives are discussing whether the portrayals of violence on children's TV shows are perhaps contributing to the violence we see in schools today. The psychological process that the representatives are probably considering as the reason that TV influences school violence is called " OBSERVATIONAL LEARNING "

Observational learning is learning that occurs through observing the behavior of others.

Observational learning describes the process of learning through watching others, retaining the information, and then later replicating the behaviors that were observed. A tremendous amount of learning happens through this process of watching and imitating others. In psychology, this is known as OBSERVATIONAL LEARNING.

vfiekz [6]

Answer:

b) Cognitive dissonance

Explanation:

Cognitive dissonance is a concept used in psychology to refer to the discomfort that one person experiences when the person has two or more contradictory beliefs or ideas.

In real life, cognitive dissonance is usually triggered when we face new evidence that comes in contradiction with what we already believed or thought. This situation creates discomfort and the human psyche will try to find a way to reduce it by solving the contradiction faced by these two situations.

In this case, Stephan was convinced he really got a good deal for such a good computer and only paid $1200 dollars but suddenly he was confronted by new evidence when he saw a similar computer online on sale for only $1000, this situation created discomfort so he is trying to reduce it by thinking he might not have gotten such a good deal. Therefore, he is experiencing cognitive dissonance.

what was the relationship between goverment and the social classes of early civilzations? this is for 6th grade ss
klasskru [66]

In the early civilization there was an upper and lower class relationship between government and social classes. Early civilizations came in existence in Lower Mesopotamia in 3000 BCE followed by "Egyptian civilization" (3000 BCE) along the Nile, Harappan (Indus Valley) civilization in the Indus River Valley (in Asian continent and at present time India and Pakistan, 2500 BCE).

The Chinese civilization established with "yellow and Yangtze Rivers" in 2200 BCE. In the recent times archeologists are searching in Tamil Nadu (India), found some vassals and other things which may have a connection with Indus Valley civilization.
