  • Short Term Goals: These goals are the goals that take a short time to achieve. When the time duration is less than one year for achieving the goal, it is called the short term goal. A short term goal can be something achieved in a day, week, month or even in a year. For example, buying groceries, buying a cell phone, purchasing home furniture, going on vacation, etc.
  • Lon Term Goals: These goals are the goals that take a long time to achieve. When the time duration is more than one year for achieving the goal, it is called as the long term goal. Long term goals may include becoming a Doctor in the future, purchasing the house of your dream, etc.
