Answer:

Option B

Step-by-step explanation:

I can't do the 'figure question' because it lacks info, but I can answer the point-slope question.

Point-slope form is: y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

'm' - slope

'(x1, y1)' - point

We are given the slope of 3 and the point (-1, 5).

Replace 'x1', 'y1', and 'm' with the appropriate values.

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)\rightarrow \boxed{y-5=3(x+1)}

Option B should be the correct answer.

PLEASE HELP! THIS IS DUE TOMORROW MORNING!!!!! I KNOW IM STUPID BUT I NEED HELP!!! lol
lianna [129]
From Walmart, you have to buy at-least= 50/8 = 6.25 = 7 [round-off to larger direction value ]
So, it would cost = 7 * 2.99 = $20.93

From Sam's club, you have to buy at-least= 50/12 = 4.16 = 5 [round-off to larger direction value ]
So, it would cost = 5 * 3.19 = $15.95

In short, Sam's club offers the better deal.

Now, we can spend our minimum expense, by buying 3 pcs. of bun from Sam's club and 2 from walmart.
In that case, it would cost = 3*3.19 + 2*2.99 = $15.55

Hope this helps!

CAN SOMEONE DEVELOPE A STASTICAL QUESTION FOR ME BECAUSE I HAD TO REDO THIS 2 TIMES AND I DONT GET IT THANKS
alexandr402 [8]
1. I want to know what percent of the school has birthdays in the summer
2. A form with the months of the year listed, so each participant can just circle the month they were born in. I’d have pencils and a form collection box.
3. I would give the form to every fifth student to leave the cafeteria on one day. I will count up how many forms were completed and how many forms have a summer birth month circled. Then I can find the percentage of students surveyed who have summer birthdays.
————————-

I think what they’re looking for it is for you to get information that reflects a part of a larger group of students.

Statistics always wants a randomized sample, giving everyone an equal chance to be surveyed and/or represented in the survey. Getting the survey done in one day, on people leaving the cafeteria, where everybody has to go at some point in a day, and choosing every fifth person keeps you from showing any bias to who you’re surveying.

Please comment if you have questions about this, or if your teacher asks for more information.

Write the equation of the line y=(5)/(6)x+(7)/(6) perpendicular to
Travka [436]

Answer:

6x + 5y + 13 = 0.

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 5/6x + 7/6

Gradient = 5/6

Since the line is perpendicular to y = 5/6x + 7/6

then its gradient is -6/5.

Hence its equation is: point (-8,7).

y - 7 = -6/5(x -(-8))

multiplying through by 5 we get;

5y - 35 = -6(x + 8)

5y - 35 = -6x - 48

6x + 5y + 13 = 0
