Technology and the industry worked hand in hand in revolutionizing today's modern electronics. The 1800's brought about the train, train tracks, steam boats, the telegraph and etc. The two main areas that it really helped in was transportation and communication. People were able to travel distance that originally took 3 weeks to 3 days. And people were able to communicate in a matter of minutes than having to wait for a letter after 3 months. So it changed the 1800's by shortening time and increasing efficiency!
