In order for the rns or nurse to support the patient's decision even though the belief of the patient are contrary to their own, she or he will need to reevaluate first and contemplate what the patient believes in order for him or her to gain a full understanding and respect the patient's decision.
Our consciousness is our awareness of ourselves, others and the world around us. The more we experience throughout life the more we learn and grow therefore our consciousness is expanding and changing everyday.
