<span>In the experiment, the weight that mice gain in different environment is analyzed. So, the weight of the mice is a variable that changes depending on the circumstances. Option A is eliminated. The color of the mouse cages is irrelevant to the experiment, because it has no impact on the weight that mice gain. Option B is eliminated. The length of time that the mice are observed must be constant for all experiments in order to obtain valid experimental results. All experiments should be done in the same period of time under different conditions. The temperature of the laboratory room is independent variable. This means that the weight that mice gain can depend on this variable. So, changing the temperature maybe will lead to different weight gain of the mice.</span>

Which expression is the correct one?
Zarrin [17]
According to the logarithmic property of base change, the correpta answer is option one or the first.
 The logarithmic property of base change says that
 loga (b) = logc (b) / logc (a)
 Therefore the same property applies to this problem and the correct expression for this question is:
 logb (x) / logb (a)

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

2 5/6=2 10/12

7/4=1 3/4= 1 9/12

2 10/12+1 9/12= 4 7/12

you can just change the denominators to the same which is 12. Hope you appreciate it!

Answer these plssssssssssssssssssssss
lisov135 [29]

Answer:

15: Yes, no, yes, yes, no; 16A: C = ($0.29)X + ($1.45)Y + ($2.50)Z; 16B: Yes

Step-by-step explanation:

For question 15: We need to multiply the widths and lengths given to see if they equal the area we are trying to achieve. Therefore, some of them work, and some do not.

For question 16:

Part A: We'll set a variable for the number of each supply she can buy. Pencils will be represented by X, pens by Y and Notebooks by Z, and we'll represent total cost by C. The total cost will therefore be represented by C = ($0.29)X + ($1.45)Y + ($2.50)Z.

Part B: We'll plug the numbers of items she wants to buy into our formula and see if it comes out to less than $20. So in this case C = ($0.29)(3) + ($1.45)(4) + ($2.50)(2). Therefore, C = $11.67, which is less than $20, so she can afford her school supplies.

Is it parallel or is it perpendicular?
zavuch27 [327]
It is parallel, which means that the new line should have the same slope of the given line y=-5/4 x+7
and the slope is the coefficient of x
so the slope = -5/4
in order to solve this problem we have to know the equation of the slop
slope=  \frac{y-y1}{x-x1}
where (x1,y1) is the point by which the new line passes through

\frac{-5}{4}=\frac{y-(-4)}{x-1}
\frac{-5}{4}= \frac{y+4}{x-1}
-5(x-1)=4(y+4)
-5x +5=4y+16 (by subtracting 16 from both sides)
-5x -11= 4y (divide both sides by 4)
y= \frac{-5}{4}x - \frac{11}{4}
