An action verb will show what the subject of the sentence does. For example: running, jumping, talking, looking, handling. Anything that one subject, a person for example, can do with their body.
On 12, the subject is others. What are the others doing? They want a big paycheck. What are they doing with that paycheck? They’re not receiving it or giving it, they’re thinking about it.
