Mrs. Jolley likes that she can save money on her electric bill by going solar, but she needs to know how much it is going to cost to set up her new system. She figures that it should take about 9 panels to start. They sent her the following prices of solar panels: # panels Price ($) 2 3,000 3 4,500 5 7,500 9 ? (a) What is the price per of each panel? I don’t know about Question One, but I can do the other two.

Question Two:
Since the first one is 2 for 3000, you divide 3000/2 and get 1500. If you do the same for 4500/3 and 7500/5, you will find that 1500 is the answer to all of them. Each panel is 1500$. If you multiple 1500$ by 9, you will get 13,500$

Question 3:
To find each, you need to divide the total price by the number of hours. The first company is 128/5, making it 25.60$ per hour. The second company is 181/6, making it 30.17$ per hour. Finally, the third company is 195/8, making it 24.38$ per hour. The best deal would be the final one because it costs the least per hour.

Which of the following describes the end behavior of f(x) = 2x 3x2 − 3 ? The graph approaches 0 as x approaches infinity. The gr
Arada [10]
1) An operator is missing in your statement. Most likely the right expression is:

               2x
f(x) = -------------
           3x^2 - 3

So, I will work with it and find the result of each one of the statements given to determine their validiy.

2) Statement 1: <span>The graph approaches 0 as x approaches infinity.

Find the limit of the function as x approaches infinity:

                                    2x
Limit when x →∞ of ------------
                                 3x^2 - 3

Start by dividing numerator and denominator by x^2 =>

      2x / x^2                         2/x
--------------------------- = ---------------
  3x^2 / x^2 - 3 / x^2       3 - 3/x^2

                                      2/∞             0          0
Replace x with ∞ =>  ------------ =  ------- =  ---- = 0
                                    3 - 3/∞        3 - 0      3

Therefore the statement is TRUE.

3) Statement 2: The graph approaches 0 as x approaches negative infinity.

</span><span><span>Find the limit of the function as x approaches negative infinity:

                                        2x
Limit when x → - ∞ of ------------
                                     3x^2 - 3

Start by dividing numerator and denominator by x^2 =>

      2x / x^2                         2/x
--------------------------- = ---------------
  3x^2 / x^2 - 3 / x^2       3 - 3/x^2

                                        2/(-∞)           0            0
Replace x with - ∞ =>  ------------ =  ---------- =  ---- = 0
                                      3 - 3/(-∞)      3 - 0        3

Therefore, the statement is TRUE.</span>

4) Statement 3: The graph approaches 2/3 as x approaches infinity.

FALSE, as we already found that the graph approaches 0 when x approaches infinity.

5) Statement 4: The graph approaches –1 as x approaches negative infinity. </span>

FALSE, as we already found the graph approaches 0 when x approaches negative infinity.
