We also need to realize people who are diagnosed and or medicated are NOT crazy people. Mental health plays a big role in unemployment; for example someone with depression may find it hard to get out of bed let alone look presentable for work. People who abuse substances most likely do not know how to cope with their mental illnesses, so they become addicts of some sort of substance. Violence is unfortunately another big contributor.
