We can use conversion ratios to convert 0.0850 qts to mL

1 qt = 0.946 L ( This would just have to be something to memorize or if you're lucky, its on a reference chart)

1 L = 1000 ml

If we substitute x for qt ( to make it less confusing- and more like stuff we do in math),

1x = 0.946 L

0.0850x = ?L

Substitute the first equation to the 2nd

0.0850(0.946) = ?L

We need to multiply 0.0850 qt by 0.946 which is 0.08041 L

To convert L to ml, we multiply 0.08041 by 1000, because there are 1000 mL in a L

0.08041*1000 = 80.41 mL

Answer:

0.0850 qt = 80.41 mL

Rational form:

399/100 = 3 + 99/100

Continued fraction:

[3; 1, 99]

Possible closed forms:

399/100 = 3.99

log(54)≈3.988984

8/(3 π) + π≈3.9904190

1/2 (e! + 1 + e)≈3.989551

-(sqrt(3) - 3) π≈3.983379

(14 π)/11≈3.9983906

25/(2 π)≈3.978873

(81 π)/64≈3.976078

(2 e^2)/(1 + e)≈3.974446

(π π! + 2 + π + π^2)/(3 π)≈3.988765

2 π - log(4) - 3 log(π) + 2 tan^(-1)(π)≈3.987955

2 - 1/(3 π) + (2 π)/3≈3.988291

How many solutions would this system of equations have? 2x+2y=8 and 4x+4y=16
MAXImum [283]

Answer:

Infinitely many

Step-by-step explanation:

2x + 2y = 8

x + y = 4

4x + 4y = 16

x + y = 4

Basically they represent the same line.

So all points on the line will satisfy both equations.

Hence infinitely many solutions

A paper cup is dropped and its landing position is recorded. The cup can land on the side, on the open end, or on the closed end
Tanya [424]

prob( it lands on open end) = 8/20 = 2/5

prob ( lands on closed end) = 4/20 = 1/5

The second choice is correct.

Help please I am a bit confused on this.
Anit [1.1K]

Because there are 4 inside angles the sum of the four angles must equal 360 degrees.

Add the angles to equal 360:

4x + 3x + 2x + 3x = 360

Simplify:

12x = 360

Solve for x by dividing both sides by 12:

x = 360 /12

x = 30

Now you have x, solve for each angle:

ABC = 4x = 4 x 30 = 120 degrees.

BCD = 3x = 3 x 30 = 90 degrees.

CDA = 2x = 2x 30 = 60 degrees.

DAB = 3x = 3 x 30 = 90 degrees.

C. It's important to know that a four sides figure needs the inside angles when added together need to equal 360 degrees.
