<h2>Answer:</h2>

The standard deviation of the data set is:

                      2

<h2>Step-by-step explanation:</h2>

We are given a set of data points as:

x=  7   9   10    11    13

Now on firstly finding the mean of these data points we have:

Mean(x')=\dfrac{7+9+10+11+13}{5}\\\\\\Mean(x')=\dfrac{50}{5}=10

Now,

 x             x-x'             (x-x')²

 7           7-10=-3           9

 9           9-10=-1            1

10          10-10=0           0

11            11-10=1             1

13           13-10=3           9

∑(x-x')²=20

Now, mean of  ∑(x-x')² gives us the variance of the data.

Variance=∑(x-x')²/5=20/5=4

Now, we know that standard deviation is the square root of variance.

Hence,

Standard deviation=√4=2

Nikolay [14]

Answer: The number can be used to express the change in temperature= -14

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: The temperature in evening dropped by 14^{\circ}F.

Thus, the change in temperature = 14^{\circ}F

Since the temperature in evening is dropped or decreased , thus in integers the change in temperature = -14^{\circ}F

Therefore, the number can be used to express the change in temperature= -14

Alchen [17]

Answer:

x=110, y=50

Step-by-step explanation:

Draw a line perpendicular to the base CD from point A. The point of intersection is E. Angle AED=90 degrees. This is a right angle triangle. A triangle has a total angle of 180 degrees. Angle DAE is then 180-(90+70) = 20. The bases of a trapezoid are parallel to each other, making angle EAB a right angle. Add 90 + 20, and you'll get 110 degrees. This is the value of x.

Draw another line perpendicular to the base CD, this time from point B. The point of intersection is F. Angle ABF is 90 degrees. Angle FBC is 130-90=40. Angle BFC is also 90 degrees. You once again find the difference of the numbers from 180. 180-(40+90)=180-130=50. y=50 degrees.
