Emotional intelligence goes beyond the regular definition of intelligence. This type allows an individual to connect with psychological abilities such as feeling, understanding and control of his/her emotions as well as the other's.
Emotional intelligence understands basic abilities such as discovering one's and other's emotions and feelings, recognizing and understanding them, being able to manage them and apply them to oneself and others.
Far more than regular intelligence, this type allows an individual to connect on a much deeper level with the other; to generate empathy and understand the other person by his/her experiences and feelings.
Emotional intelligence is the intelligence that allows some people to get along well with others and respond to the needs of others. They can tell when someone needs emotional support.
