\sqrt{\dfrac{y^3}{9x^2y^7}}=\sqrt{\dfrac{1}{3^2x^2y^4}}=\sqrt{\dfrac{1}{3^2x^2(y^2)^2}}=\dfrac{\sqrt1}{\sqrt{3^2x^2(y^2)^2}}\\\\=\dfrac{1}{\sqrt{3^3}\cdot\sqrt{x^2}\cdot\sqrt{(y^2)^2}}=\dfrac{1}{3xy^2}\\\\Used:\\\\\sqrt{\dfrac{a}{b}}=\dfrac{\sqrt{a}}{\sqrt{b}}\\\\\sqrt{a\cdot b}=\sqrt{a}\cdot\sqrt{b}\\\\\sqrt{a^2}=a

How would I know what lines are intersecting, perpendicular, parallel and coinciding based off an equation given? Like in the pi
NikAS [45]
If lines are paralel, then they have the same slope
if the lines are pependicuilar, the slopes mutiply to -1

so

y=mx+b
m=slope

and
ax+by=c
-a/b is the slope

given
y=2/3x-2
slope is 2/3

x+y=4
slope is -1/1 or -1

2/3≠-1 and -1 times 2/3≠-1 so they are neither perpendicular or paralell

since they aren't paralell, we know they intersect somewhere

What is the value of x?
olga2289 [7]

Answer:

98 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

first find angle G

53 + 45 + G = 180

subtract 45 and 53 from both sides

G = 82

angle g is supplementary (add up to 180) to x

x +82 = 180

subtract 82 from both sides

x = 98

Let f(x) = cos(x) + 2x.<br> Where does f have critical points?
adell [148]

Answer:

<em>f</em> has no critical points.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given:

f(x)=\cos(x)+2x

A function has critical points whenever its derivative equals 0 or is undefined.

Differentiate the function:

f'(x)=-\sin(x)+2

Since this will never be undefined, solve for its zeros:

0=-\sin(x)+2

Hence:

\displaystyle \sin(x)=2

Recall that the value of sine is always between -1 and 1.

Thus, no real solutions exist.

Therefore, <em>f</em> has no critical points.
