  2. Religion- Through this policy, he wanted to convert the entire Frankish kingdom to Christianity.

Effect to the warriors

Due to the expansion and Christianity policy, there was continued warfare.

Charlemagne in an effort to boost the spirit of his warriors, he began to give them<em> land </em>that could enable them sustain themselves.

In return, his warriors gave him <em>loyalty and victory.</em>
