Explanation:

The lender — whether it's a bank, a store, or a car dealer — makes money by charging you an extra amount over and above the amount of the loan itself. The amount of the loan is called the principal, and the extra amount they charge you to borrow the money is called interest.

If a victim has suffered abdominal trauma, you should also assume that he or she has suffered ________ until proven otherwise.
katrin [286]

If a victim has suffered abdominal trauma, you should also suppose that he or she has suffered chest trauma until confirmed otherwise.

What is Abdominal trauma?

An injury to the abdomen is known as abdominal trauma. Abdominal pain, tenderness, rigidity, and external abdominal bruises are among the signs and symptoms. Blood loss and infection are examples of complications. The most common causes of blunt abdominal injuries are falls, assaults, recreational mishaps, and motor vehicle collisions (MVCs).

The spleen, liver, retroperitoneum, small bowel, kidneys (see the illustration below), bladder, colorectum, diaphragm, and pancreas are the organs that are most frequently injured. Blunt tool injury, falling from a height, car accidents, and physical assault are the most common causes of blunt chest trauma. Numerous injuries, including pulmonary injuries, can result from chest trauma and necessitate immediate medical attention.

Trauma to the chest can be mild or piercing. We refer to a wound that penetrates the skin (such as a stabbing, gunshot, arrow into the heart, etc.) as penetrating chest trauma. Consider blunt chest trauma if tissue injury isn't primarily caused by a sharp item cutting deeply into skin and muscle.

Hence, If a victim has suffered abdominal trauma, you should also suppose that he or she has suffered chest trauma until confirmed otherwise.

In a classic study on depth perception, Gibson and Walk placed infants of various ages on a fabric-covered runway that ran acros
Doss [256]

Answer:

In the study, they put ten babies on a surface that looks unsafe and risky. On the other side were their mothers who were calling babies to crawl to them. Eight out of ten infants did not continue crawling. Psychologists can analyse infants` reaction (emotional response) to the visual cliff even before they start crawling. For instance, Campos and his work group in the 1970s came to the conclusion that infants (one-month-old) do not have the change in heart rate when they are put on the cliff with their faces down. A A month older infants had decreased heart rate when put in the same position with the face down which interprets as them being interested in what was happening. And finally, when they did the experiment with children who are nine-month-old, their heart rates quickened on the cliff, which was a sign of fear.
