The length of line segment OM is 34 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

 • The diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other (cuts equally into two halves).
 • The line segment OM is a diagonal with an intersection point Q.
 • The line segment OQ is equal in length as the line segment QM.

Step 1 :

⇒ length of OQ = length of QM

⇒ 2x + 3 = 3x -4

⇒ 3x-2x =4+3

⇒ x = 7

Step 2 :

Subsitute x = 7 in OQ and QM

⇒ length of OQ = 2x+3

⇒ 2(7) + 3 = 17 cm

⇒ length of QM = 3x-4

⇒ 3(7) - 4 = 17 cm

∴ Length of OM = length of OQ + length of QM

⇒ OM = 17+17 = 34 cm

Answer:

 yes, yes, no, no

Step-by-step explanation:

An equation is linear if no term has a variable with an exponent other than 0 or 1. There can be no products of variables.

The equations with terms x³ or x² will not be linear.

(a, b) linear (yes)

(c, d) not linear (no)

Point D (-1,5) is reflected across the x-axis which statements about D are true
mamaluj [8]

Answer:

When a point is reflected across the x axis, it has the same x axis but the y axis is multiplied by -1. Think about the x axis as a mirror and the point is projected across the x axis.

Hence the x coordinate is -1 and the y coordinate is -5.

Which do the following equations represent? -4x-5y=-4 and 10x-8y=-1
kicyunya [14]
Parallel have same slope
Perpendicular have opposite reciprocal slopes. Ex. 2/3 is slope of one line so the perpendicular line would have slope of -3/2.

Find slopes of these lines.

-4x-5y=-4
-4x+4 =5y
Divide by 5

Y= -4x/5 +4/5

Second line: 10x-8y=-1

10x+1=8y
Divide by 8

10x/8 +1/8 =y

Y= 5x/4 +1/8

So if you look at slope of line 1= -4/5 and line 2 it’s 5/4 so these both are perpendicular.

What does 2.8- 4.4n- 2n + 7 equal?
boyakko [2]

Answer:

2.8- 4.4n- 2n + 7 = -6.4n + 9.8

Step-by-step explanation:

combined like term:

-4.4n - 2n = -6.4n

2.8 + 7 = 9.8

so all you do is combined together and got -6.4n + 9.8
