Soy (yo form, present tense) - use when describing traits about yourself (permanent traits, not thoughts/feelings/locations/etc)

Era (yo/el/ella/usted form, past tense) - directly translates to 'was.' use when describing something in the past

Which form of beber is in the preterite yo form?

Bebemos
Beben
Bebí
Bebió
Ilia_Sergeevich [38]

Answer:

The right answer is, C. Bebí.

Explanation:

Because the preterite form of the verbs in Spanish alludes to actions that were carried out in the past. As they are asking me for the form of the conjugated verb in the first person of the singular, the correct way to express it is option C, where the phrase would be "Yo bebí". (I drank).
