Using the quadratic formula to solve x? + 20 = 2x, what are the values of x?
Sergio [31]
I am not sure if the “+” was supposed to go there or if that was just a typo, so I do apologize if this is wrong... but if it doesn’t belong in the equation at all, 20 = 2X is a fairly simply multiplication problem. You are to divide both sides by the 2 and you should get X = 10, because 2 goes into 20, 10 times; and the 2 goes into 2 only once, therefore the 2 now gets cancelled out.

Answer: 20 divided by 2 = 2x divided by 2 is now 10 = X.

Really hope this helps you, have a good day :)

Answer:

2.

a)1

b)1

c)1

Step-by-step explanation:

There's some identity trigonometric equation, which are valid for all angles,and they doesn't depends on the measure of angle!

some of em are follows:. (x is the given angle)

  • sin(x)^2+cos(x)^2=1
  • cosec(x)^2=1+cot(x)^2
  • sec(x)^2=1+tan(x)^2

You can remember these identity, its gonna help alot.

now back to question,. {x is representing angles)

for (a) sin(x)^2+cos(x)^2=1, this is true for all x, dat means that for all the angle given in question(for ,15°,30°,45°,60° and 120°),we will get 1

for(b) ,

cosec(x)^2=1+cot(x)^2

i.e, cosec(x)^2-cot(x)^2=1, again this is true for all x dat means that for all the angle given in question ,we will get 1

for (c),

sec(x)^2=1+tan(x)^2

i.e,sec(x)^2-tan(x)^2=1,again this is true for all x, dat means that for all the angle given in question ,we will get 1

✌️:)

Question 2 (5 points)<br> What is the value of x?<br> HELP ASAP
Anton [14]

Step-by-step explanation:

In \:  \triangle HDT,  \: BM || DT.. (given)  \\  \\  \therefore \:  \frac{HM}{MT} =  \frac{ HB}{ BD} \\ (by \: basic \: proportionality \: theorem) \\  \therefore \:  \frac{6}{x} =  \frac{9}{15} \\  \\  \therefore \:  x=  \frac{15 \times 6}{9} \\  \\  \therefore \:  x=  \frac{90}{9} \\  \\ \therefore \:  x=  10 \\  \\
