The correct answer is B, because a complex sentence contains one independent clause and at least one dependent one, that is, it 'creates diversified structure'.

I have to write an essay comparing and contrasting Pygmalion and My Fair Lady. I need help, i don't know how to start it. Could
a_sh-v [17]

My Fair Lady was an adaption of Pygmation. The original play opened in 1914 but was adapted for a movie in 1938 and musical in 1954. The biggest difference was in how the play ended. You can then discuss the changes made and go on from there.

Hyperbole in Romeo and Juliet act 3
makvit [3.9K]
<span> Mercutio says to Benvolio

"... thou wilt quarrel with a man that hath a hair more, or a hair less, in his beard, than thou hast: thou wilt quarrel with a man for cracking nuts, having no other reason but because thou hast hazel eyes: what eye but such an eye would spy out such a quarrel?"
</span>
<span><span> Here, Mercutio exaggerates Benvolio's quick temper. </span>

</span>In Act 3, Scene 5,  <span>"It is the lark that sings so out of tune, straining harsh discords and unpleasing sharps. Some say the lark makes sweet division; this doth not so, for she divideth us."
</span>
Here, she exaggerates by saying that the lark (known for its beautiful song) sounds harsh and unpleasing, because it means that Romeo must leave her.

Pretend that you live in a time when yellow journalism is common. You are in charge of writing five headlines that will capture
zhannawk [14.2K]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

If I am in charge of writing five headlines that will capture people's attention using yellow journalism, I would write the following.

1.- Half of the US population will die if the vaccine is not available at the end of December.

This exaggerated headline would capture people's attention due to the fear most people are living in right now due to the pandemics.

2.- Trump's administration is driving the country to chaos and extermination.

This exaggerated headline would capture people's attention because half of the American people still support the president's idea that elections were corrupted while the other half supports Joe Bidden, creating one of the most notorious divisions in the US society of all times.

3.- The US economy is the worst since the Great Depression. And is not getting better.

This exaggerated headline would capture people's attention because if it is true that economic conditions are not at its best, sensationalistic headlines like this can instill more fear and desperation in the American society.

4.- No more football this winter season, as players are increasing testing positive.

This exaggerated headline would capture people's attention because football is the favorite sport in America and right now, it is one of the fewest sources of entertainment.

5.- Thanksgiving? Is there a reason to be grateful during this pandemic year?

This exaggerated headline would capture people's attention because is so negative during these positive days of expressing gratitude.

What is ironic about discussing whether or not to include
dezoksy [38]

Answer:

A. Casca firmly reverses his position about including Cicero, as if he hadn't been the one to suggest it in the first place

C. Casca thinks he is making important decisions when Brutus is really the one leading the way

Explanation:

The ironic thing about discussing whether or not to include Cicero in the conspiracy is that Casca firmly reverses his position about including Cicero, as if he hadn't been the one to suggest it in the first place and Casca thinks he is making important decisions when Brutus is really the one leading the way.

An action becomes ironic when the eventual outcome is different from the intended outcome.
