In this story, a young couple living in Nigeria is in love and planning to marry. The young woman, Nene, wants her fiance, Nnaemeka, to tell his father that they are going to marry. However, Nnaemeka does not want to, as he is fearful that his father will disapprove of the union, because Nene does not belong to their tribe. This causes conflict between Nene and Nnaemeka, as Nene does not believe it will matter, but Nnaemeka still fears his father's opinion. Hope this helps.

Describe the difference between Noda's identity as a Japanese American woman and being racially Japanese.
ella [17]

The difference between Noda being Japanese American and being racially Japanese is that in the former, her physical race is that of an American and the latter explains her cultural upbringing.

Why did Noda not identify with being japanese?

This is because, from an early age, Noda's whole identity as a Japanese-American is the subject of a mixture of incomprehension and stereotyping from white society.

In the story, the author, Kesaya Noda writes about her personal experiences growing up as a daughter of Japanese immigrants and this shows that a person's race does not define them as a person.

Even though it was a difficult thing for her to accept her identity as a Japanese American woman because she was ostracized for being a Japanese American. She also faced racism and discrimination.

Hence, the difference is her physical race and her cultural upbringing as a woman.

In which section of a nuclear reactor does nuclear fission occur?
saw5 [17]
A process wherein the atom’s nucleus is further divided into two nuclei, that is, fission products, is called nuclear fission. This happens when the nuclei of radioactive elements (e.g. Uranium or Plutonium isotopes) are able to attract neutrons. Because these isotopes’ nuclei are unstable, an addition to their energy causes them to divide into new pieces of neutron. In nuclear reactors, fission occurs when the power plant gathers heat from a steam in a physical process. Nuclear reactors are designed to sustain nuclear chain reactions.
