Esecially the problem is 3x +x < 160

To find this out we first need to combine like terms

4x<160

Then get rid of the coefficient. In this problem, we divide by 4

x<40

So Rachel has to be less then 40, and Stephanie has to be less than 120.

Bianca's bank offers a savings account with a 2.1% APR, compounded monthly. The the actual annual percentage yield on this account can be calculated using i = (1+ r/m)^m, where i is the actual APR, r is the nominal interest rate and m the compounding period in a year. APR is equal to 2.12%

Can someone show me the steps to solve this
saul85 [17]

Answer:

87 - 18 \sqrt{6}

Step-by-step explanation:

We want to expand:

( \sqrt{6} - 9)^{2}

We expand to get:

( \sqrt{6}  - 9)( \sqrt{6}  - 9)

\sqrt{6} ( \sqrt{6}  - 9) - 9( \sqrt{6}  - 9)

We expand using the distributive property to get:

6 - 9 \sqrt{6}  - 9 \sqrt{6}  + 81

6 - 18 \sqrt{6}  + 81

Finally simplify to get:

87- 18 \sqrt{6}
