An election of President occurs every four years, before the general election, candidates go trough a series os state primaries and caucuses, people can vote for a candidate of any politicial party, each select a nominee to unite behind, the nominees anuncies a vice president candidate, the campaign across the country, Presidential debates take pace wich  expose their ideas, at the election Day the electors cast their votes, the Congress counts the electoral votes and the Inauguration day finally take place.

The main Advantages are: the ability to know the candidates, to see the candidates in many situations, candidates have time to  recover a bad situation, people don't need to rush into a choice.

The main Desadvantages are: Candidates for no chance stay in, hurts primary candidates on both sides, American people stop paying attention .

In the 1920s, why did African Americans move away from the southern United States to the big cities of the North?
daser333 [38]
B- a lot of slaves back then tried to escape their lives of entrapment and being owned by other human beings,so they would attempt to make their way to the North where slavery was not accepted or used. If slaves made it north they would have lived their lives as free people, but if they were caught they were usually beaten or killed to make an example to show other slaves what would happen if they ran away.

What does this political cartoon reveal about the impact of the treaty of Versailles on Germany’s sense of pride and nationalism
S_A_V [24]

The Treaty of Versailles has further increased the sense of pride and nationalism among the German people, and that eventually led to the worst thing that has happened to the humanity, the World War II. The reason why the Treaty of Versailles had such an effect on the Germans was that it made big damage and sanctions on the German economy, with the people of Germany suffering and living in poverty. The frustrations grew, the people felt that they were stripped of their basic rights, and they saw an enemy that was trying to destroy them in any way possible. Once a political figure came on the scene that used all of those frustrations to gain power, the people saw a savior, and that led to the rise of Nazi Germany and the terrors of World War II.
