In the <u>interaction-constructionist</u> perspective, children develop self-concepts based on feedback from those around them, using play as a significant vehicle through which they develop ideas about appropriate gender roles for themselves, both as children and as adults. The interaction-constructionist perspective is concerned on how individuals learn via interaction with others and how it helps them to identify their roles in the society and to better understand the world, it focuses on face-to-face encounters within relationships. This is an important tool of how children develop self-concept and their roles in the society.
