If you take the square root of x and 49 then you will get that x = 7

This is a "difference of squares" which is always factored as:

(a^2-b^2)=(a-b)(a+b) in this case:

(x-7)(x+7) that is what it is factored...

If you meant to solve for when it is equal to zero then there are two solutions:

x=±7 (x=-7 and +7)

Simplify. final answer should be written in standard form (a+b)(3a-b)(2a+7b)
algol13

we have

(a+b)(3a-b)(2a+7b)

step 1

Solve

apply distributive property

(a+b)(3a-b)=3a^2-ab-3ab-b^2=3a^2-4ab-b^2

step 2

Multiply (3a^2-4ab-b^2) by (2a+7b)

6a^3+21a^2b-8a^2b-28ab^2-2ab^2-7b^3=6a^3+13a^2b-30ab^2-7b^3

answer is

6a^3+13a^2b-30ab^2-7b^3

If the speed of a is 3 ft/s up and is increasing at 4 what is the instantaneous speed and acceleration
Tasya [4]
Sorry I'm in high school.. but according to my physics class, the instantaneous speed is when t (time) is 0, or whatever you'd use (like x).. anyways, when t=0, the instantaneous speed would be 3 ft/s, and the instantaneous acceleration is 0.

Answer:

B. (3,0)(0 ,-6)

Step-by-step explanation:

What is intercept.?

Intercept are those points where a given line cuts across a given axis.

So for the equation y = 2x - 6

To find the intercept we will bear in mind that we are looking for two points.

The point where the line cuts both the x axis and the y axis .

And to determine that, we will set both x and y to be equal to zero and then solve for both.

So let x = 0

Y = 2x -6

Y = 2(0) -6

Y = -6

One point = (0 ,-6)

Let y = 0

Y = 2x -6

0 = 2x -6

6 = 2x

X = 3

One point = (3,0)

The two points are

(3,0)(0 ,-6)
