Think of the nucleus through this analogy: the brain of the human body contains all of the information inside of it that allows us to move and think, just like the nucleus contains all of the information for our beings inside of it. The skull is like the phospholipid bilayer (plasma membrane) surrounding and protecting the nucleus. Just as our brains are the control centers of our bodies, the nuclei are the control centers’ of cells.
