"Product of" tells you to use multiplication of the two terms

"square of x" = x²

"seven" = ... the number... 7

Your equation (your answer for these problems) can take a few forms:

x² · 7

7 · x²

7(x²)

(x²)(7)

7x²

(0.4)² = (0.4).(0.4) = 0.16

His error is, instead of raising (0.4) to exponent 2, he multiplied (0.4) by 2 , obviously which is wrong
