Answer:

equation ( 1.25x = 27.5 ) and x = 22.

Step-by-step explanation:

Shampoo bottle contains shampoo = 30\frac{1}{2} ounces = 30.5 ounces

If 3 ounces spilled out the remaining amount of shampoo = ( 30.5 - 3 ) = 27.5 ounces.

Every time he shampoos his dog, amount of shampoo required = 1\frac{1}{4} ounces = 1.25 ounce

If x is the number of times Nico can bathe his dog using the same bottle of shampoo then total amount used = (1.25) (x) ounces

Now remaining amount of shampoo = ttal amount used to shampoo the dog

(27.5) = (1.25x)

x= \frac{27.5}{1.25}  = 22 times

So answer will be equation ( 1.25x = 27.5 ) and x = 22.

kari74 [83]

Answer:

7:55 am

Step-by-step explanation:

To determine the time needed to leave, add up all of the elapsed time and subtract that from the 8:50 departure time. The 10 minutes from walking to the platform puts us at 8:40 am, 30 minutes to reach the station puts us at 8:10 am, and the extra 15 minutes gives a time of 7:55 am.

Ken flips 2 fair coins.<br> What is the probability of obtaining the same result on each coin?
nadya68 [22]

Answer:

Hello there! There is a 1/4 chance of getting the same result on both flips, keeping in mind that a coin only has 2 sides.

Step-by-step explanation:

There is a 1/2 chance of getting a result on one flip. So we now have to multiply that by getting the same result on another flip.

1/2 × 1/2 = 1/4

Hope this helps! :)
