Answer:

The answer to your question is: AC = 36

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

Segment AC with midpoint = B

AC = 5x - 9

AB = 2x

AC = ?

Process

           total length = AC but B is the midpoint so AB + AB = CA

                                                                                  2AB = CA

                Substitution        2(2x) = 5x - 9

                                             4x = 5x - 9

Solve for x                           4x - 5x = -9

                                             -1x = -9

                                              x = -9/-1

                                             x = 9

Finally,            AC = 5x - 9

                             = 5(9) - 9

                             = 45 - 9

                             = 36

To Find :-

  • Value of i and j

Solution:-

\longrightarrowIn a matrix the the the position of an element is determined by using a_{ij} where i the number of row and j is number of column in which the element is.

\leadstoSince 6 is in 2nd column and 2nd row , it's position can be written as a_{22}

Comparing with a_{ij}

  • i = 2
  • j = 2
