Wilson wanted a just peace, no harsh reparations, and an international body to resolve conflicts peacefully. His ideas were embodied in his '14 Points', which unfortunately he gave to the Germans without consulting his allies.
Clemenceau wanted a very harsh peace, the return of French territories captured in the 1870 war (Alsace and Lorraine), reparations, and the demilitarisation of Germany.
Lloyd-George sort of fell between the two, but domestic politics and the desire for revenge forced him closer to Clemenceau. He also wanted control of German colonies to take away this threat to the British Empire.

What was the main purpose of the Hartford Convention?
umka21 [38]

Answer:

Explanation:The Hartford Convention was a series of meetings from December 15, 1814 to January 5, 1815, in Hartford, Connecticut, United States, in which the New England Federalist Party met to discuss their grievances concerning the ongoing War of 1812 and the political problems arising from the federal government's increasing power.

This convention discussed removing the three-fifths compromise, which gave slave states disproportionate power in Congress,[citation needed] and requiring a two-thirds majority in Congress for the admission of new states, declarations of war, and creating laws restricting trade. The Federalists also discussed their grievances with the Louisiana Purchase and the Embargo of 1807. However, weeks after the convention's end, news of Major General Andrew Jackson's overwhelming victory in New Orleans swept over the Northeast, discrediting and disgracing the Federalists, resulting in their elimination as a major national political force.

Scenario 13.1. Redbox places its vending machines in easy-to-reach areas around pharmacies, grocery stores, discount stores, and
emmainna [20.7K]

Answer:

The Redbox kiosks that are located near shopping centers and grocery stores offer customers both convenience and experiences (nostalgia).

Explanation:

It offers convenience because customers can easily access the DVDs and Blu-rays after shopping, so they end up leaving the shopping center with different kinds of products, for example, the groceries for the week and a couple of DVDs.

But it offers experiences (nostalgia), because while Netflix and other streaming services are even more convenient than a Redbox kiosks in front of a Wall-Mart, many people miss the whole experience of going out to rent movies, and a new trend is slowly developing of bringing back this type of activity.
