Graph the Equation: y=2x + 1
A
B
C
D
Vladimir79 [104]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

okay so first I wanted to see which graphs had the y-intercept of +1 (b) which in coordinates would be (0, 1). Since only B and D had this, I already limited my options to those two choices. Now, you could find two even points (even meaning they evenly align with the grid of the graph), but I decided to do rise/run. If the slope is 2 like in the equation, it would be rise 2 run 1. I tried this with B, but the line was not steep enough. Rather, its slope was actually 1. To confirm that D was correct, I tried to rise 2 and run 1 (go up by 2 amd then right by 1) and it worked.
