Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
zhuklara [117]

Answer:

see below

Step-by-step explanation:

9 ^-5 * 9^-3

When multiplying these we ADD the exponents:

9^-5 * 9^-3

= 9^(-5 + -3)

= 9 ^-8

= 1/9^8  Option A

2.    2^14 / 2^7   This is a division so we SUBTRACT the exponents:-

= 2^(14 - 7)

= 2^7   (answer)

3.    If the triangle is a right angled one then it will obey Pythagoras Theorem so:-

13^ = x^2 + 5&2

x^2 = 13^2 - 5^2

x^2 = 144

x = 12    (answer)

4.   The last choice is a crucial step.

The total area of the triangles is the same in both large squares so  the area of the large  square e^2 = a^2 + b^2 ( the 2 squares in the left side large square).

PLS PLS PLS HELP IM BEHIND The first sequence rule is multiply by 3 starting from 4. The second sequence rule is add 8 starting
Alchen [17]

Answer:

36

Step-by-step explanation:

the first sequence starts

4 12 (3*4) 36 (3*12) 108 (3*36) ...

the second sequence starts

20 28 (8+20) 36 (8+28) 44 (8+36) ...

so, just by writing down a few elements you can see it already.

I knew it already before that just by thinking "the first sequence has only numbers that can be divided by 3. what is the first number of the second sequence that can be also divided by 3 ? oh, yeah, 36 !"
