Before you start the vehicle make sure there is nothing blocking or in the tail pipe and make sure to check your engine and pipes regularly for damages, rust, breakage, and holes. Get a CM thermometer installed in your vehicle and check it often. Lastly, if your vehicle is running but idle, roll down your window.

Answer:

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the carbon monoxide is a cololess and odorless gas that can kill us. It can be found anywhere and anytime we burn fuel, cars, trucks, small engines, lanterns, grills, stoves, and more. The main characteristic that makes CO really dangerous is that it's untraceable.

In the case of cars and engine-vehicles, there are several measures we can take to avoid CO poisoning:

 • We should check the exhaust system periodically with professional help, to ensure that the vehicle is not releasing more CO than it should.
 • Never run the engine-vehicles inside the garage, this will concentrate the CO gas and it will make you inhale big amounts of it.
 • If we have a vehicle with tailgate, and you are gonna open it, make sure you also open the windows, because if you don't all CO gas will enter through the tailgate and you will inhale too much gas.

scoundrel [369]

Answer:

The majority of foodborne illnesses are the result of bacteria and viruses. Thus, one needs to take precautions in order to protect the food from pathogens, which eventually would result in food illnesses in the individuals who consume them. Some of the points, which are needed to be taken care of are as follows:

1. The raw foods like poultry and meat, eggs and unpasteurized milk are the prime sources that can get contaminated.

2. The usage and consumption of fruits and vegetables that are washed by unclean water are also one of the potential sources of foodborne illnesses.

3. The fruits juices can also get contaminated if the fruits used were contaminated with the pathogens.

4. When the food item comes into contact with an individual who is ill, like suffering from conditions such as diarrhea or vomiting or is unhygienic as he or she did not wash his or her hands can also cause foodborne illnesses. Thus, both the food and the individual who serves the food should be clean and should maintain hygiene.

e number of students in a school club increased from 32 to 36. By what percent did the number of students in the club increase?
barxatty [35]

Answer:

The percentage increase is 12.5%.

Explanation:

Given the following data;

Original number of students = 32

New number of students = 36

We will calculate the increase using;

Increase = original \; number - new \; number

Substituting the values, we have;

Increase = 36 - 32 = 4

Percentage \; increase = \frac{increase}{original \; number} * 100

Percentage \; increase = \frac{4}{32} * 100

Percentage \; increase = 0.125 * 100

Percentage increase = 12.5%

Therefore, the number of students in a school club increased by 12.5%.
