A triangle has the coordinates (7, 6), (6, 3), and (8, 3) at its vertices. The transformed triangle has the coordinates (6, −7),

(3, −6), and (3, −8) at its vertices. Are the triangle and its transformation congruent? Why or why not?
A. Yes, the transformation is a 90° clockwise rotation.
B. No, the transformation is a 180° clockwise rotation.
C. Yes, the transformation is a 270° clockwise rotation.
D. No, the transformation is a 360° clockwise rotation.

Answer with explanation:

Vertices of Triangle are (7, 6), (6, 3), and (8, 3) .

When the triangle is transformed that is rotation has taken place and the coordinates of vertices of Image are (6, −7), (3, −6), and (3, −8).

When you will compare Pre image and Image

1.⇒ Rotation in clockwise direction has taken place to get the Image.

2.⇒Pre Image is in First Quadrant, and Image is in fourth Quadrant

Among the four transformation , Reflection, Rotation, Translation and Dilation , in first three that is, Reflection, Rotation,and Translation Preimage and Image are Congruent , while in Dilation the two, Preimage and Image are Similar.

So , Yes the two triangles are Congruent.

⇒Option A: Yes, the transformation is a 90° clockwise rotation.

Answer:

See below.

Step-by-step explanation:

For item 2:

The Net Price Rate = 276 / 460 = 0.60 = 60 % (answer).

Item 3: Net Price Rate = 3247 * 100 / 3820 = 85% (answer).

Item 4 Net Price Rate = 675.11 / * 100 / 987 = 68.4%. (answer).

Item 5 Item's Net Price = 987 * 0.675 = $666.23 (answer).

Item 7 Net price Rate = 2945* 100 / 4750 = 62%. (answer).

Item 8: First find the list place $x:

0.90* 0.80 * 0.70x = 252 ( the 0.90 , 0.80 and 0.70 come from 100 - 10% = 1 - 0.10 = 0.90 and so on)

0.504 x = 252

x = $500

Answer is List Price = $500 and Net Price Rate = 50.4%.

Item 10 List price = 2890.65 / 0.35 = $8259. (answer)

If arc XV = 68° and ∠YUV = 36°, what is the measure of arc VY? A) 120° B) 130° C) 140° D) 150°
dybincka [34]
The picture in the attached figure

we have
arc XV = 68°∠YUV = 36°
we know that
The measure of the external angle is the semidifference of the arcs that it covers.
therefore
∠YUV =[arc VY-arc XV]/2

arc VY=[2*∠YUV]+arc XV----------> [2*36]+68---------> 140°

the answer is
the measure of arc VY is 140°

Find the total area the regular pyramid.

T. A. =
alexira [117]
The answer would be A = 54raiz (3) + 18raiz (91)
Formula:
A = Ab + Al Where, Ab=base area A= lateral area

The area of the base is: Ab = (3/2) * (L ^ 2) * (root (3)) Where, L= side of the hexagon. Substitute: Ab = (3/2) * (6 ^ 2) * (root (3)) Ab = (3/2) * (36) * (root (3)) Ab = 54raiz (3)

The lateral area is: Al = (6) * (1/2) * (b) * (h) Where, b= base of the triangle h= height of the triangle Substitute: Al = (6) * (1/2) * (6) * (root ((8) ^ 2 + ((root (3) / 2) * (6)) ^ 2)) Al = 18 * (root (64 + 27)) Al = 18raiz (91)

The total area is: A = 54raiz (3) + 18raiz (91)
