Answer:

Trout population

Explanation:

In any scientific study you will have at least one independent and one dependent variable. Independent variables do not change in function of other variables in the study, while dependent variables change when the independent variable changes. In the proposed study, if the scientist wants to find out the impact of trout population on the yellow-legged frog population, what they really want to find out is how much the frog population changes when the trout population changes. This means that the trout population doesn't depend of any other variables in the study, so it's independent, while the frog population depends on the trout population, so it's dependent.

Petroleum Products

Petroleum and its products are mainly composed of carbon polymers (chains), as the backbone, with different structural and functional groups. Plastic, for example, is made of polypropylene and polybutylene which is mainly made of carbon atoms, whose monomers are linked in a chain to form polymers that make up the products.
Synthetic rubber on the other hand is made of copolymers of carbon and other addictives such as styrene. Synthetic fiber is made of nylon that is composed of a copolymer between carboxylic acid and amides.

Many nutrients are absorbed in the blood stream from the small intestine. the first organ that gets this nutrient blood is
MArishka [77]
The first organ that receives nutrients from the small intestine is the liver. To better understand this, check out the process flow of the digestive system up to how the liver becomes the first organ to benefit from the nutrient absorption by the small intestines. 1. Esophagus - After chewing, the food is pushed down the esophagus and then out of the esophageal sphincter, which is a ring-like muscle at the junction of the esophagus and stomach that controls the passage of food and liquid between the esophagus and stomach.2. Stomach - Swallowed food and liquid are stored in the stomach. The stomach then mixes the food and liquid with digestive juices that it produces. The mixed food and gastric juices will then be called chyme. The chyme is then slowly emptied into the small intestine. 3. Small intestine - The muscles of the small intestine mix food with digestive juices from the pancreas, liver, and intestine and push the mixture forward to help with further digestion. The small intestine has multiple parts: the duodenum, the jejunum and the ileum. The ileum mix and push food towards the large intestines. Located within the ileum are villi that increase the surface area for absorption. The nutrients absorbed here are transferred to the blood stream and liver.
