In my opinion I think the answer for this equation is positive 1...Hopefully this helped.
You would wanna do what is in the parentheses first then you would get negative 2, after you would do -2•-5 to get positive 10. then you are left with 8x+10=18 Turn the positive ten Into a negative ten then subtract 10 from 18 to get 8 and 8x goes into eight one time so your answer is one:)
