Answer:

36 laps can the customer drive for $8

Step-by-step explanation:

Unit rate defined as  rates are expressed as a quantity of 1, such as 3 feet per second or 4 miles per hour, they are called unit rates.

As per the given statement; A costumer at a raceway can drive 54 laps around the track for 12$.

⇒ for $12 a costumer drive 54 laps around the track.

unit rate per dollar = \frac{\54}{12} = 4.5 laps

To find how many laps can costumer drive for $ 8

Number of laps = unit rate \times \$ 8

Number of laps for $8 = 4.5 \times 8 = 36 laps

therefore, 36 laps can the customer drive for $8

Answer:

36 laps can the customer rive for $8 .

Step-by-step explanation:

As given

A costumer at a raceway can drive 54 laps around the track for $12.

I.e

54 laps cost = $12

Now calculate laps for $1.

\$1 = \frac{54}{12}\ laps

\$1 = 4.5\ laps

The number of laps customer rive $8 = 4.5 × 8

                                                              = 36 laps

Therefore 36 laps can the customer rive for $8 .

A rubber ball is dropped onto a hard surface from a height of 8 feet, and it bounces up and down. At each bounce it rises to 90
Setler [38]
A. 8 feet * 0.9 = distance after first bounce
h(n) = 8 * 0.9^n

b. 8 * 0.9^14 = 1.83 feet to 2 d.p.
1.83 * 12 = 21.96 inches
