(7x+2)(x-2) I think not sure

We can start by getting rid of parenthesis:

4x-3x+6=21

Then we can combine like terms:

x=21-6

The Intersecting Secant Theorem says

EC × ED = EB × EA

(x+4)(x+4+1) = (x+1)(x+1+11)

(x+4)(x+5)=(x+1)(x+12)

x^2 + 9x + 20 = x^2 + 13 x + 12

8 = 4x

x = 2

Check:

6(7)=42

3(14)=42, good

Answer: 2

SUBTRACT 1 to BOTH SIDES

2x + 1 - 1 < 5 - 1

SIMPLIFY IT!
2x < 5 - 1

2x < 4


DIVIDE 2 to BOTH SIDES

2x/2 < 4/2

SIMPLIFY IT!
x < 4/2

x < 2


Therefore, your answer is: x < 2
