Answer:

  • 75 m/s

Explanation:

<u>1) Data:</u>

<u />

a) m =750 kg

b) V₀ = 0 (at rest at the red light)

c) a = 7.8 m/s²

d) t = 7.0 s

e) Vf (at t = 7 s) = ?

<u />

<u>2) Physical principles and formulae</u>

Uniformly accelerated motion is ruled by the equations:

i. Vf= V₀ + at

ii. d = V₀ t + at² / 2

iii. Vf² = V₀² + 2ad

Where:

  • V₀ = initial speed
  • Vf = final speed
  • a = acceleration
  • d = distance run

<u>3) Solution</u>

You just need to use the first equation:

  • Vf= V₀ + at = 0 + 7.8 m/s² × 7 s = 74.6 m/s
  • Round to two significant figures: 75 m/s

In a Hydrogen molecule there are a total of four charges, 2 protons in the two nuclei, and 2 electrons. How many unique charge-p
lutik1710 [3]

Answer:

The total number of charge pair without double counting is 6.

Explanation:

Given that,

Number of proton = 2

Number of electron = 2

We need to calculate the total number of charges in Hydrogen atom

Using formula for number of charges

n= p+n

n =2+2

n=4

Number of charge in pair is

r = 2

We need to calculate the total number of possible combination of pairs without double counting

Using formula of combination

N=_{n}C^{r}

Where, n = number of charges

r = number of charges per pair

Put the value into the formula

N=_{4}C^{2}

N=\dfrac{4\times3\times 2}{2(4-2)}

N=\dfrac{4\times3\times 2}{2\times2}

N=6

Hence, The total number of charge pair without double counting is 6.

What happens to a light if the switch is turned off in the circuit?
lukranit [14]

In a parallel circuit nothing happens. All the other lights stay on but if it was a series circuit ALL the lights would turn off at one time.

If there is an ABCD question I can answer that but I wasn't sure so I just said this

Hope it is helpful :)

A professor determined the relationship between the time spent studying (in hours) and performance on an exam.
lubasha [3.4K]
Lets write again formula for determening Ann's performance.

P = 70.443 + 4,885*t

where t is in hours. This is equation with P(t) which means that P only depends on variable t. If we express t=2.6 in formula we will find her expected performance.

P = 83.144

Now, since it says that she scored 16 points less than expected we need to find value of P-16

P - 16 = 67.144

After round we get that the answer is 67
