Answer:

  see attached

Step-by-step explanation:

GeoGebra conveniently computes the point coordinates of the reflected points. In the attached, the reflections are done in the order listed in the table, so A' is reflected across x; A'₁ is reflected across y; A'₂ is reflected across y=x, and A'₃ is reflected across y=-x. The same notation is used for the other points. The values are listed in order, so you can copy them down the column in your table.

Find the slope and the y-intercept of the line with equation 9x + 10y = 91.
skelet666 [1.2K]

y=mx+b

M is also slope. b= y-intercept

9x + 10y = 91

move 9x to the other side

sign changes from +9x to- 9x

9x-9x+10y=-9x+91

10y=-9x+91

Divide both sides by 10 to get y by itself

10y/10=-9/10x+91/10

y=-9/10x+91/10

y-intercept (x=0)

9x + 10y = 91

9(0)+10y=91

0+10y=91

10y=91

Divide both sides by 10

10y/10=91/10

y=91/10

Answer:

slope (m)=-9/10

y-intercept :(0, 91/10)

RS = 12, ST = 2x, RT = 34
Harrizon [31]

Answer:

x=11

Step-by-step explanation:

34(RT) minus 12(RS)=22. 22 divided by 2 equals 11.

Solving systems of equations using substitution p=q+2
4p+3q= -27
GREYUIT [131]
Ok, so you are given the value of P=q+2

The substitution method tells us that we must insert the value we know, into the second equation, 4P+3q= -27

Doing so will give us 4(q+2)+3q= -27

For right now, lets just focus on the first part, 4(q+2)

We can simplify this by distributing(multiplying) the 4 to whats inside the variables.

This will give us 4q+8

now lets add this back to the rest of the equation >>> 4q+8+3q = -27

We can further simplify by adding like terms >>> 7q+8 = -27

subtract the 8 from both sides >>> 7q = -35

now divide both sides by 7 >>> q = -35/7

Therefor q = -5

EDIT*

now that we know q = -5 we can put q into the equation for P !

we know that p=q+2

so lets put q in now >>> p=(-5)+2

and simplify>>> p = -3

I hope this helps:)

Question
What is the value of x?

Enter your answer in the box.

x =
vlada-n [284]

The value of x is 4/3

What are trigonometric relations?

Trigonometry is the study of the relationships between the angles and the lengths of the sides of triangles

The six trigonometric functions are sin , cos , tan , cosec , sec and cot

Let the angle be θ , such that

sin θ = opposite / hypotenuse

cos θ = adjacent / hypotenuse

tan θ = opposite / adjacent

tan θ = sin θ / cos θ

cosec θ = 1/sin θ

sec θ = 1/cos θ

cot θ = 1/tan θ

Given data ,

Let the triangles be ΔRST and ΔQRT

Now , from the figure

∠S = 90° in the triangle ΔRST

And RS = 2/√3

∠T = 60° in the triangle ΔRST

Now ,

sin 60° = opposite / hypotenuse

           = RS / RT

           = ( 2/√3 ) / RT

We know , sin 60° = √3 / 2

Substituting the value of sin 60° in the equation , we get

√3 / 2 = ( 2 / √3 ) / RT

Multiply by RT on both sides , we get

RT x ( √3 / 2  ) =  ( 2 / √3 )

Divide by ( √3 / 2  ) on both sides , we get

RT = ( 2 / √3 ) x ( 2 / √3 )

RT = 4 / 3

Therefore , the value of RT = 4/3

Now , from the figure

∠R = 90° in the triangle ΔQRT

and ∠T = 45° in the triangle ΔQRT

So ,

tan 45° = opposite / adjacent

We know tan 45° = 1

Substituting the value for tan 45° = 1 in the equation , we get

1 = opposite / adjacent

1 = x / RT

Multiply by RT on both sides , we get

x = RT

So , x = 4/3

Hence , The value of x is 4/3
