(1)Eli Whitney ( 1765-1825) is famously known for her innovations which have significant impact on the United state. Eli Whitney is an American best known for inventing the cotton gin.

(2) An Artisan is a worker in a skilled trade, especially one that involves making things by hand . An artisan is a skilled craft worker who makes or create material objects partly or entirely by hand. An artisan works with their hands to create unique, functional and decorative items using traditional techniques.

(4) Francis Lowell brought English factory technology to United state. He is an American merchant and manufacturer. He built an American textile manufacturing industry. He was impressed by British textile mills when he went on a trip at the age of 36. He built the first factory that could both spin and weave cotton, this hadn’t even been done in England yet.

(5) Mercantilism is a set of economic ideas about how a country can get rich. It is also called commercialism, it is a system in which a country attempt to amass wealth through trade with other countries, exporting more than its import . It is considered an outdated system tho.

(6) Agricultural revolution..........The production of food rose dramatically during the time of Agricultural revolution. This is a period of technological improvement and increased crop productivity that occurred during the 18th and 19th centuries in Europe.

(7) Capitalism is also known as a market economy, an economic system characterized by private ownership of capital goods by investment by citizens, owners, and corporations of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market economy.

(8) Cotton gin is an important invention that drastically reduced the amount of time needed to separate cotton fibers and seeds. This cotton engine is a machine that quickly and easily separates cotton fibers from their seeds, enabling much greater productivity than manual cotton separation.

(9) Cotton gin could produce much more cotton than workers could by hand, making a significant impact to the way goods were produced.

(10) Interchangeable part are Products made so that parts could be changed from one item to another. If a part on a musket broke, you could replace it with the same part from another musket.

(11) Industrial Revolution is the period in which the United State began to move from an agricultural system to an industrial system. The industrial revolution was a period of major industrialization and innovation that took place during the late 1700s and 1800s. Industrial revolution started in England and quickly spread throughout the world.

(12) Samuel Slater spent time in London and learned how factory machines were built, he then took this new information back to the United State and built one factory in Rhode Island. He is an industrialist known as the father of the American factory system.

(13) Ingenuity......... This new information helped bring on the industrial revolution ingenuity.

(14) Textile industry are Industries primarily concerned with the design or manufacture of clothing as well as the distribution and use of textiles
