If the female has the same heterozygous trait, which would be t, the baby has a 25% chance to get tt.
50% chance to get Tt, and carry it further.
and also 25% to get TT, and don't carry the trait.

Simply, plants are green because they have green chloroplasts (organelles that carry out photosynthesis).
