You could win a giant jar of M&Ms, if only you could guess how many are in the jar. You find a smallerjar such that the gian

t one is exactly four times the smaller one in each dimension. If you count 115M&Ms in the smaller jar, about how many should be in the larger jar?

Answer:

There are 7360 M&Ms in larger jar.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following in the question:

A giant jar is such that it is exactly four times times the smaller jar in dimensions.

If r and h is the radius and height of the cylindrical jar respectively, then the dimensions of the larger are:

R = 4r\\H=4h

Number of M&Ms in smaller jar = 115

Volume of smaller jar =

v = \dfrac{1}{3}\pi r^2 h

Volume of larger jar =

V =\dfrac{1}{3}\pi R^2 H=\dfrac{64}{3}\pi r^2 h

Number of M&Ms in larger jar:

v = \dfrac{1}{3}\pi r^2 h\rightarrow 115\\\\V=\dfrac{64}{3}\pi r^2 h\rightarrow 115\times 64\\\\V=\dfrac{64}{3}\pi r^2 h\rightarrow 7360

Thus, there are 7360 M&Ms in larger jar.

Leni [432]

Answer:

  d. The farmer can make a habitat that is 40 feet wide and 100 feet long.

Step-by-step explanation:

The attached graph shows the inequalities and the various answer choices. The existence of the doubly-shaded area shows that answer choice C is false.

The appropriate choice is ...

How to write the inverse of 3x+4y=12 in f^-1 (x)?
mojhsa [17]
3x+4y=12

4y=12-3x

y=(12-3x)/4   <---------- This is f(x)

---------------------

3x+4y=12

3x=12-4y

x=(12-4y)/3

Therefore:

f⁻¹(x)=(12-4x)/3

=[4(3-x)]/3

Lisa would get $3.84 in change.

2.23 x 2 + (2.23 - .53) = 6.16

10 - 6.16 = 3.84

( 69 POINTS!!! ANSWER PLEASE!!! , WILL MARK AS BRAINLIEST IF U GIVE AN EXPLANTION AND NOT LIKE JUST THE ANSWER =.= )
Sergio [31]

Okay so process of elimination. The first option isn't correct because the sum of the interior angles for any triangle is always 180 degrees. x would be 25 degrees  for ABC because 90+65=155 and 180-155=25. Y would be 95 degrees for DEF because 65+20=85 and 180-85=95, so y does not equal 90 degrees. For B, No side lengths are given. C is also not the correct answer so the answer is D. I can link you to another brainly post that has the same question or a similar with an explanation on determining the answer if you'd like :)
