According to the question,

l - w = 4 ⇒ l = 4 + w

2w = 14

⇒ w = 7

So, the width of the rectangle is 7 inches.

And, length = 4 + 7 = 11 inches

Thus, the area of the rectangle = length × width

= 11 × 7

= 77 in²
