I don't think anyone can actually answer this question, especially me, but I guess I'll try because they always tell middle school students to try, and I'm in 7th grade.

I think the meaning of life is all about living creatures and nature, with the survival lesson of life using resources and whatnot. Humanity needs all kinds of varieties of resources to survive like food, as do animals. The meaning of life expresses the need of life in areas, and represents harmony and organization of the glories of life.

I hope you like this answer, and have a good night! :D

What are the advantages of being an incumbent candidate
ss7ja [257]

Answer:

1. Well known

Holding an elected office, whether it’s a Senator or local PTA President, bestows upon the owner a certain amount of prominence among their constituents. When it comes time to vote, name recognition is one of the primary benefits of incumbency, especially in more obscure races. This association is often enough to overcome challenges from more obscure rivals.

2. Institutional Support

By running from within the system, officials can use many of the advantages that come with their office. Interest groups and other supporters are much more likely to get behind someone with a proven track record of responding to their needs than an unknown challenger. Also, there are many tools and resources available to office holders through the system of support behind the organization, like voter databases as well as contact information, that can be used to their advantage.

3. Fund Raising

Connections with powerful constituencies and the power to influence decisions on their behalf often allows incumbents to raise far more money than those who are working from outside the system. Historical precedent and data confirms that elected officials are often able to out raise and spend their opponents in races that require fund raising.

"For the natives, they are near all dead of smallpox, so as the Lord hathe [has] cleared our title to what we possess." —John Wi
Sloan [31]

This passage expresses some of the negative attitudes that English settlers had towards American Indians.

First, the quotes serve to highlight the fact that colonists did not feel particularly bad for the deaths of the natives, as they show no empathy towards them. They were most likely indifferent to the loss of culture and the disruption of family life that this caused as well.

Moreover, it shows that they knew the reasons why the Indians were dying (smallpox), but had no interest in taking any measures to prevent it.

Third, they show a sense of entitlement over the lands of the indigenous people. As most of them have died, and the population cannot defend itself, they have no problem in taking their land forcefully.

Finally, by comparing themselves to the Spanish, they also show awareness of the destruction and chaos that colonial powers have created in other places, and are thankful that they did not have to engage in a difficult war with the Native Americans.

Explain how this cartoon represents the lend lease act
Gnesinka [82]

Answer:

The Lend Lease Act was initiated to, as the poster Uncle Sam holds, to support the US's allies in their war effort. "Short of War" is used to describe that the US economically was already in the war, as they provided loans, created military hardware and equipments, and heavily invested in their allies. The only thing holding them out was the public opinion, and the investment of American lives nonvoluntarily. The left side is used to suggest the public opinion, and how there were sentiments on both sides for the argument. In essence, Uncle Sam is trying to appease both sides in supporting logistically the Allies, while not forcing US men into the warfront.
