Answer:

$21,578.77

Explanation:

For computing the amount after 6 years we have to determine the future value i.e to be shown in the attachment below:

Given that,

Present value = $0

Rate of interest = 4%  ÷ 4 quarters = 1%

NPER = 6 years × 4 quarters = 24 quarters

PMT = $800

The formula is shown below:

= FV(Rate;NPER;PMT;PV;type)

After applying the above formula, the future value is $21,578.77

A depositor places $10,000 in cash in a commercial bank, where the required reserve ratio is 10 percent. The bank sends the $10,
garik1379 [7]

Answer:

C) $10,000, $1,000, and $9,000, respectively.

  • actual reserves increase by $10,000
  • required reserves increase by $1,000
  • excess reserves increase by $9,000

Explanation:

the money deposited by the client = $10,000

bank's reserve ratio is 10% = $10,000 x 10% = $1,000

since the bank kept the whole $10,000 as reserves, then:

  • actual reserves increase by $10,000
  • required reserves increase by $1,000
  • excess reserves increase by $9,000

The bank is only required to keep $1,000 in reserves, this means it can borrow the remaining $9,000 whenever they want.

Why is it illegal to alter the odometer on a vehicle
Lana71 [14]

Odometer reading is a vital tool in car assessment, it represents safety, real age of the vehicle, and many other general factors. The act of altering the number constitutes forgery and fraud, due to it's apparent nature. For example, if it would be legal to alter the odometer reading, then many people could buy brand new cars at their local dealerships, with reality being that those are used cars with thousands of miles on them, and used car owners will be more prone to be in car collisions, without having a clue of the real state of their car.
