What is the answer to 3x+4y=12
shepuryov [24]
3x + 4y = 12

To find x subtract 4y from both sides
3x = 12 - 4y

Then divide all terms by 3

3x/3 = 12/3 - 4y /3

So, x = 4 - 4/3y
